Research methods are strategies and techniques used to collect information and to help find answers to your research questions. Many research methods and approaches can be applied to learning about the lives of people affected by HIV/AIDS, including those at risk of contracting HIV.
There are different methods you can use to address the research questions you have. Ask yourself: How would I get the best answer to my research problem?
Some common research methods are:
- Surveys or questionnaires
- Interviews (individual or in group)
- Observations
- Review of documentation
