Prairie Community-Based HIV Research Program - Hosted by Nine Circles Community Health Centre

The Prairie Community-Based HIV/AIDS Research Program generates new opportunities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. We work to:

Support your organization in undertaking HIV/AIDS research to achieve your policy, program and service delivery goals.

Strengthen your skills to undertake and produce HIV/AIDS community-based research. Research that is relevant, respectful and methodologically sound.

Facilitate collaboration between organizations, researchers and affected communities in HIV/AIDS community-based research.

We support Saskatchewan and Manitoba HIV/AIDS community organizations in all aspects of research at no cost:

  • Funding
  • Design
  • Implementation
  • Dissemination of findings
  • Evidence-based integration of findings into programming and policy

This includes emphasis on involving community members as active collaborators in the research process.
